The Bassment, 202 4th Avenue N, Saskatoon

Let's Celebrate the Fiddle!

FIDDLE SERIES • DOORS @ 1:00 • SHOW @2:00

Benoît Denis plays a mix of Francophone and Métis styles, honestly acquired from his family heritage. Last year, Benoît won his age group in the Back To Batoche Days Fiddle Contest. Originally a classical guitarist, Steve DeJager has recently added Appalachian and prairie style fiddling to his musical skills. Steve frequently and passionately plays guitar and fiddle at Northern Lights jams. Regina’s Flatland Fiddlers play fiddles, cellos, piano, and guitar. This talented group of teens performs tunes from across Canada and beyond. With a blend of harmonies, groove lines, chopping, solos, and more, the Flatland Fiddlers will have your feet tapping in no time!

Sponsored by Northern Lights Bluegrass & Old Tyme Music Society
